Puppy Eyes

Fiona and Jewels
I own two horses of very different breeds. One is my half Saddlebred/ half Arabian mare who is the most highly schooled horse I've ever owned, Princess Fiona. The other is a much simpler mare, a gorgeous Palomino Quarter Horse. I follow Elizabeth on Instagram and saw some very beautiful images of dogs, rabbits, and cats that she was painting. I was very impressed and reached out to see if shed consider doing a paining of Fiona. She jumped at that opportunity and worked right away, showing me various drafts of her progress. I was blown away! And the final product captured my mare perfectly! So I asked her to paint Jewels, the Palomino. I think I love that painting even more!
For an artist to study a photograph and to paint a subject so beautifully without ever seeing the subject in person is extraordinary!

Fawn
After seeing some of Elizabeth's paintings of woodland creatures, I commented that I'd love to commission a fawn. She took that very nondescript remark and managed to create the most perfect portrait of a wide-eyed and sweet little deer. It fits seamlessly among my existing decor, despite providing very little direction, and is a treasured belonging. Not to mention her prints are extremely high quality and packaged with care. I highly recommend Stapleton Studio's for anyone looking to add a little charm to their home!

Thumper and Peter
